If you're like us, you love wombats. And no, you don't love them like an Arkansas farmer loves his pig (it's legal there, so don't judge), but nonetheless you love the little marsupials. But what can you do if you live far away from the wombat's native land? Don't be disheartened, you can still adopt one. Yes, just like you can adopt a starving Ethiopian, you can also adopt a wombat. Through WWF's (World Wildlife Foundation, not those crazy wrestlers) website you can adopt a wombat for as little as $25, and receive an adoption certificate and photo to boot. Donations of a greater value are also accepted, with some additional items given (gift bag, plush toy, etc.) based upon your donation amount. You can head to WWF's adopt a wombat page if you're interested in adopting a wombat. This article was not sponsored, endorsed, or affiliated with WWF or any other outside entity. What can we say, we just love the little guys (wombats that is, we're not quite sure how we feel about WWF). |
