Max Factor, one of the oldest and most successful cosmetics manufacturers in the world, has announced a new product line. This new, as yet to be named, line of cosmetics has unofficially been dubbed the Green Light Cosmetics System.

Perhaps the most innovative and advanced cosmetic line ever developed, Green Light contains a unique blend of chlorophyllated chelated active minerals in a reactive base which actually allows the cosmetic to use sunlight to dispense essential nutrients directly at the cellular level. The product has been shown to not only stave off sun damage but to reverse this damage as well. Cellular renewal is accelerated and at once provides a healthier, firmer appearance. Continued use of the chlorophyllated product has been shown to essentially reverse the aging process.

While the product awaits final approval, the main challenge to the cosmetics giant has been how to market the decidedly curious side effect of the innovative product.

As the body absorbs the unique chlorophyllated chelated active minerals, there is an assimilation at the cellular level that allows cells to innately produce chlorophyll and incorporate a low-level photosynthetic sequence on a genetic level. The unavoidable consequence is a slight green hue developing in the underlying epidermal layers. While unexpected, there is no evidence of any potential for negative side effects, long term or otherwise. In fact, the only apparent result, other than the vague green pigmentation, is self-fueling cells.

Self-fueling cells may, in fact, be the one aspect of the cosmetic line that finally wins mass approval and widespread adoption of the Green Light system. Since the cells begin to fuel themselves using the photosynthetic process of converting sunlight to energy, individuals who continue to use the cosmetics find themselves with a decreased appetite and an increased energy level. The direct result is a fitter, leaner physique.
