HOA nazis

Does your HOA hound you every time they spot a leaf in your yard? Or send you a notice because a couple clovers sprouted in your yard? Then feel free to use the letter below to inform your HOA what they can do with their notices (edit as needed)...

Dear Sirs,

I think that you guys need to find something better to do than to walk around and cite people for their yard. I am trying to do my part in keeping the economy from going into a recession by working two jobs and paying my mortgage and keeping up to date with my other bills. Perhaps you should as well. I think paying a fine of $25 is a waste of my money for some leaves. If it bothers you that much, feel free to grab a bag and rake and clean it up yourselves. You obviously have nothing better to do with your days. It is not easy to stay ahead in the economy that we are in, so please be considerate and mind your own business. Some of us have bigger issues we are facing aside from some leaves and weeds. If you are bored with your lives, pick up a hobby. Or, you can help out people that are less fortunate than yourselves that do not have the time to walk around the neighborhood. It is in everyone's best interest if you use the time you have available to do something more constructive. Next time, if you have a problem with my yard, man up and either call me up on the phone or knock on my door. Don't be a coward about it and send a letter or post a note on my door. Do not hide behind a $25 fee; talk to me like the mature grown up that you obviously think you are. Whatever happened to being neighborly and helping out your neighbors? Has it ever occurred to you that maybe I can't afford or cannot physically clean the leaves that bother you so much? Stop and give a half second thought to the people that are living behind the yards that you are pointing at. We are real people with real issues so you can take that $25 and shove it up your ___. I have better things to do with $25 than to amuse you. Even if it does not go towards bills, I can donate it to a third world country to feed starving kids. What are you going to do with it? Stick it in an account and watch the .01% interest it will receive? It is because of people like you that we are all in the current situation we are in. Why don't you stop being a greedy nosy body and allow me to donate the money for a good cause.

Angrily,

Your pissed-off neighbor that has a life with bigger issues than leaves
