In honor of the bands recently nominated for induction into the Rock N' Roll Hall of Fame, we introduce a list of past inductees that should never have been inducted and will hopefully one day be kicked out.

1) Abba - The only time I ever think about Abba and rock is when I hear Fred Flintstone yelling "yabba dabba do." In my world, that doesn't cut it for making it into rock's Hall of Fame.

2) The Jackson 5 - Kids singing pop music? Sure, put them in the Kiddie Pop Hall of Fame (at least one of the Jackson 5 would possibly like that), but not in the Rock N' Roll Hall of Fame. Why don't we add N'Sync while we're at it?

3) Madonna - Like a virgin maybe, but not like a rocker. Just because a person has rockers inside them doesn't mean they should necessarily be in the Rock N' Roll Hall of Fame.

4) The Beach Boys - The Beach Boys being inducted into the Rock N' Roll Hall of Fame does not give us good vibrations.

5) Bonnie Raitt - First of all, she's country and not a rocker. Secondly, she's not even good enough to be inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame (it's true, we looked it up).

6) Neil Diamond - Nobody is banging their heads to Sweet Caroline. Honestly, has anyone ever listened to a rock station and heard a Neil Diamond song? Point proven.

7) Earth, Wind & Fire - Funky, yes. Rocky, no (unless they let Rocky Balboa play bass). If we wanted the funk brought, we'd ask for some Earth and Wind (maybe not the fire though, since we wouldn't want the roof to catch on fire). Nothing about them has ever been rock, ever. EVER!
