1) Jack in the Box - There are many reasons to love Jack in the Box, and not just because they have some of the greatest commercials. Their hamburgers feature real pickles and onions (unlike whatever it is that you get at McDonald's), and they also have some of the best milk shakes you can find. Not only are their milk shakes good, but they also offer whipped cream and a cherry on top at no additional cost. The food can be a bit pricier than their competition, but the food makes it completely worth it. 2) Chipotle - Chipotle is to Taco Bell what Target is to Wal-Mart. As with Target, Chipotle finds a way to be the classier option. Their options are pretty basic, but you get a choice of making sure your burrito (or salad) is made exactly how you want it. The preparation is similar to a Subway, but of course Jared isn't involved in the process. 3) Steak N' Shake - It's fast food meets a 50's Diner. The restaurants feature a drive-through, but you can also eat inside and be provide with a menu and waitress. The steakburgers are razor thin, but that's what they're known for. Featuring great shakes and cheese fries (their cup of chili isn't bad either), it's definitely a place that you should visit if you happen to find one nearby. 4) Taco Bell - Some may question Taco Bell's place on this list, but let's be honest, it's a good fast food option. Where else can purchase enough food to fill you for less than $3? I have often enjoyed 3 chicken burritos for the grand sum of around $2.80. That doesn't include a drink of course, but their drink offerings really aren't anything to write home about (although they are finally providing some alternatives to soft drinks). And if burritos aren't your thing, then there's always the Chalupa and Choco Taco, which are just enough to make it onto this list. 5) Arby's - Their roast beef sandwiches provide a nice alternative to the burger options that fast food typically provides, but that alone isn't enough to make it onto this list. No, their Jamocha shake is what really sets Arby's apart from some of their competition. And if you don't have a sweet tooth like me, then you can also enjoy their great curly fries and jalapeno bites. 6) In-N-Out Burger - I hesitate putting In-N-Out on this list, since they're borderline overrated. Their menu isn't anything special, basic really, and the food isn't necessarily better than others on this list. So why do they make the list? Two words: Secret Menu. That's right, In-N-Out features a secret menu, involving such options as Animal Style fries and The Flying Dutchman, and what could be cooler than that? 7) Quizno's - There are two big-name sub fast food companies out there, but Quizno's make the list because of their toasted subs. Yes, Subway gives you the option to toast as well, but it's not the same. I'm not sure what Quizno's does different, but their food always comes out warm and tasty, just the way we like it.
